Abstract
405,455. Holders for loose leaves &c. FORDS (FINSBURY), Ltd., 12, City Road, London, and FORD, R. E., 45, Laneside, Wilsden, Bradford, Yorkshire. Jan. 25, 1933, No. 2371. [Class 146 (i).] A holder for memorandum books, loose-leaf pads, &c. comprises a top member A with upwardly bent flanges a<1>, a<2>, and inwardly turned ends a<3> to receive the ends of the leaves, a stiff flat plate D hinged to the member A to form one side cover, and a second detachable stiff plate D<1> forming the other side or cover and having slots d, d<1> to engage a clamping- screw C secured to the member A and the inwardly turned ends a<3> respectively. The plate D<1> may be hinged to the upper end containing the slots d, d<1>. The leaves of the pad B are provided with slots b, b<1> to engage the screw C and ends a<3> of the member A, and when the leaves and plate D' are assembled they are clamped by a knurled or other nut. The holder may be made of aluminium, cardboard, leather, leatherboard, &c.
