[Class 141.] A parachute harness is formed as a single continuous strap which starting at 1 passes partly round the right leg of the wearer up through a buckle 40, through a connection 60 to the parachute, down through a buckle 50, under the seat at 10, round the outer side of the right leg at 11, through a buckle 2, up over the back at 14, through buckle 50, over the neck at 17, through buckle 40, down over the back to buckle 23, across the seat at 10 to a point 4 where it forms with portions of the strap already described a double strap passing through the connection 60 and separating into two branches at 31, one branch 32 passing through the buckle 23 and terminating at 33. The doubled strap parts may be stitched together. Straps 34, 35 may be provided for connecting together the side portions of the main strap. In a modification, the doubled portion (6, 28, 7, 29) of the strap is divided to form a plurality of points of connection to the parachute.
