414,965. Securing fan - pulleys on shafts. KNOWLES, E., 19, Westland Avenue, Heaton, Bolton, Lancashire. Jan. 11, 1934, No. 1069. [Class 80 (ii).] Means for securing a fanpulley 1 to the end 7 of an engine-crankshaft, comprise a sleeve portion 16 formed integral with the pulley and fitting on the shaft, and a separate sleeve 6 drivingly connected with the shaft by diametrically-opposite shaft-lugs 9, and with the pulley-sleeve 16 by further lugs 18. The parts are held together by a bolt 11 screwing into the shaft-end through the closed end of the pulley-sleeve 16, and having a dog-head for crank-handle engagement.
