Abstract
411,437. Collars for personal wear. HEALE, S. H. C., c/o Heale & Son, Whitley, Reading. Dec. 5, 1932, No. 34337. [Class 141.] The angle between the front tabs 3 of the neckband of a collar and the edges 4 of the outer flap 2 is decreased by overlapping or gathering together the material and securing by a line of stitching. Fig. 1 shows a fold 6, and Fig. 4 shows a wedge-shaped aperture 9 which permits gathering together the edges 10 and 11. A straight slit may be made in place of the wedge cut 9, and the edges overlapped and sewn as at 12, Fig. 5. The end 14 of the tape binding 13 is stitched down over the gathered or overlapped portions.
