Abstract
461,725. Collars for personal wear. CAMPBELL CO. April 9, 1936, No. 10532. Convention date, Sept. 25, 1935. [Class 141] In a " fused collar comprising a top 1, band 2, and an interlining of fusible material such as a textile fabric of which some of the yarns carry cellulose acetate strands, the interlining comprises parts 8, 9, formed respectively with longitudinally curved edges 10, 11, which are overlapped and stitched together, as at 12 ; preferably, these parts are provided with shoulders 13 to serve as guides in assembling. The overlapped portions form a seam which projects into the top of the collar and defines a curved fold line located above the angles 7 between the tab ends 5 and the inclined front edges 6 of the top 1. After all the parts have been assembled and united, the interlining is fused in the usual manner to the inner faces of the layers forming the top and band.
