Abstract
407,514. Stop-motion drop wires &c. COMPTOIR D'APPAREILS TEXTILES SOC. Ó.r.l., Rue Furstenberger prolongÚe, Mulhouse, Haut-Rhin, France. Feb. 16, 1933, No. 4742. Convention date, May 26, 1932. [Class 142 (i).] The drop wires or blades of an electrical or mechanical stop motion for warps in a loom or for yarns being wound on a winding frame &c. are distorted where the yarn eyes a are situated so that the distorted portions 2, 3 lie substantially in parallel planes, substantially parallel to and equidistantly spaced from the general plane of the drop blade. The yarns thus pass through the eyes without being deflected. A blade &c. with a rectangular eye as shown in Figs. 12 and 13 may be used so as to support the yarn at a single point d. The blades &c. may be slotted as shown, or may be solid.
