387,769. Liquid, gaseous, and pulverulent fuel furnaces. JEZLER, H., 10, Stockerstrasse, Zurich, Switzerland. Oct. 21, 1931, No. 29254. Convention date, Oct. 27, 1930. [Class 51 (i).] Tubulous steam boilers having a heating chamber of circular section formed by closely adjacent water tubes are fired with pulverulent, liquid, or gaseous fuel tangentially introduced with air so that the burning fuel rotates and is positively guided by the tubes as it advances in spiral form to an obstruction at.the chamber outlet. A high pressure boiler formed of circular tubes 2 connected to a feed chamber 3 and a collecting chamber 4, has a water pipe screen 7 which may serve as a feed heater, and a superheater coil 10. The pressure within the tubes 2 is such that steam is not generated therein. Fuel and primary air are introduced through a nozzle 5 and auxiliary air or steam through nozzles 6, solid particles thrown from the gases collecting in a space 8. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes the provision of a combustion gas passage accommodating a superheater between the combustion chamber and collector. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
