Abstract
381,896. Cycle weather shields. NEAL, E., 9, Park Road North, Bedford. May 27, 1932, No. 15109. [Class 136 (i).] A windscreen a for cycles, arranged in front of the legs of the driver is so formed as to extend downwardly along, and fit at its longitudinal centre against the upper bent down tube b of a lady's bicycle, or the front down tube of a man's bicycle. As shown, the screen a is curved longitudinally to conform with the tube b, and is also curved transversely to reduce wind resistance. A central longitudinal recess e in the screen fits around the tube b. The screen may be fixed, or may be detachably secured by means of clips c and bolts and wing-nuts d. The screen may be made of sheet aluminium, enamelled canvas, &c.
