505,384. Filling-tubes of petrol tanks. WESTWOOD, S. C., and WESTWOOD, L. H. Dec. 10, 1937, No. 34190. [Class 21] The filling-tube of a petrol tank is provided with a vent tube. g, h, i, j, carried on sections a, b of the filling-tube which are secured in abutting relation by a rubber &c. sleeve d held by metal clamping bands e. The part j may be wholly within the part b and tho filling and vent tubes may both be continuous. The vent tube may be formed by metal strip secured at the edges to the filling-tube.
