Abstract

381,472. Ink - ribbon mechanism. TRIUMPH-WERKE NœRNBERG AKT.- GES., 212, F³rtherstrasse, Nuremburg, Germany. March 14, 1932, No. 7506. Convention date, March 25, 1931. [Class 100 (iv).] In vibrator mechanism comprising an actuator 3 co-operating with a pin 6 which is connected to the vibrator and can be set in the blue, stencil, or red position I, II, or III by means of an adjusting-lever 9 having a three-notched segment co-operating with a detent, the segment consists of two parts 14, 16 which are relatively adjustable to adjust the throw or initial position of the ribbon. Preferably the segment 14 is secured to the shaft 8 of the lever 9, and the segment 16 is loose on the shaft and has a slot 15 receiving a clamping-screw 17. The segments 14, 16 are formed with notches 18, 19 for engaging a detent-roller 21 when the pin 6 is set in positions I, III respectively, a third notch formed by inclines 20 engaging the detent-roller when the pin is set in position II. The detent-roller is carried by a spring- urged lever 22 provided with an adjusting- eccentric 24 for moving the detent-roller into register with the notch 18.
