376,668. Rotary beacon lights. NAAMLOOZEVENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, 13D, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. Feb. 3, 1932, No. 3239. Convention date, Feb. 5, 1931. [Class 75 (iv).] A rotary beacon light comprises a linear source of light arranged in the focal line either of a parabolic trough - shaped reflector or of a lens adapted to produce a substantially parallel flat beam of light and co-operating only with such reflector or lens, the light source and the reflector or lens being rotated about a vertical axis. Means may be provided to produce a flashing light. In the form shown, a lantern 1 having glass walls contains lowtension neon tubes 5 and reflectors 6 mounted on a framework 4 so as to be at an acute angle to a vertical shaft 2 which is rotated by a motor 3. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also refers to the use of a cylindrical lens. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
