373,474. Roller stands for spinning and twisting machines. FINE COTTON SPINNERS & DOUBLERS ASSOCIATION, Ltd. and PHETHEAN, J., St. James' Square, Manchester. July 17, 1931, No. 20479. [Class 120 (ii).] The roller stands of mules and other spinning and twisting machines are reduced in width between the front and second roller bearings so as to provide spaces a between the shoulders of the rollers and the stand, whereby the collection of fly or fluff around the roller necks and its subsequent attachment to the roving or yarn is prevented. The stands may be similarly reduced adjacent to the back roller bearing.
