368,685. Carburetters.. CLAUDEL, C. H., Veuxhaulles, Cote d'Or, France. Sept. 3, 1930, No. 26293. Convention date, Sept. 4, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 7 (iii).] In a carburetter, nozzles 21, 13, 31 for slow running, normal running, and full throttle opening respectively are arranged in the same plane, the nozzles 13, 31 communicating with the float chamber through openings in its wall and with the main nozzle through submerged jets 14, 32 and passages 16, 16<1>. The nozzles intercommunicate through a passage 63 in which a jet 62 may be arranged between the nozzles 13, 31. The slow-speed nozzle 21 is provided with orifices 66, 26 and communicates through the passage 58 with a tube 29 which is rotatably adjustable so as to admit extra air through orifices 65. Air is supplied to a central tube 34 in the main nozzle through a check-valve 55 or a hot-air supply pipe 25. The throttle valve casing is integral with the cover of the float chamber and is secured by a screw 11.
