Abstract

363,056. Milk &c. bottles. ENOCK, A. G., Dutch House, Raglan Gardens, Wembley Park, Middlesex. Oct. 28, 1930, No. 32310. [Class 125 (iii).] The flat disc-ledge d and undercut c for a wide mouthed machine-moulded bottle are ground by a rotary cutter, inserted in the mouth, to afford a flat and efficient seating for the sealing disc. The ledge may be formed at a substantial distance below the rim of a parallel-necked bottle, and a groove may also be ground exteriorly of the neck for the seating of an external cap.
