Abstract

346,890. Closures for bottles &c. WALLIS, H. C., 9, Brewery Road, Caledonian Road, and HOLMES, C. R., 52, Eltham Road, Lee Green, both in London. Feb. 4, 1930, No. 3740. [Class 125 (iii).] A bottle &c. neck fitted with a cap closure which is held in position by a detachable overseal, is formed with a plurality of downwardly facing inclined surfaces a, the lower extremities of which are notched at c into which the projections on the skirt of the cap " click " on rotating the cap into the closed position, the edge b acting on a stop to prevent further turning. The overseal, which may be spun into place, the lower edge engaging under the shoulder s, is preferably of the type referred to in Specification 257,860, [Class 125 (iii), Stoppers &c.], and can only be removed by destruction.
