352,736. Furnace grates. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd., Millbank, London, and THORNTON, B. M., Winning- ton Hall, Northwich, Cheshire. July 12, 1930, No. 21151. [Class 51 (i).] A replacement link 11 for travelling chain grates having one or more open-ended slots 12 engaging with transverse pivotal supports 10 is secured in place by pins 20 engaging with holes 15, 18 arranged on opposite sides of the slots. Instead of both slots being vertical (when the link is horizontal) one of them may be inclined to the vertical and therefore without the need for a locking-pin.
