[Class 51 (i)] Travelling grates of the rocking drop link type are provided with resiliently mounted rollers to turn the links about the carrier bars into the correct position before entering the furnace. The rollers e are mounted between blocks d carrying an inclined shoot g the whole unit being held resiliently by springs i against and inverted channel a forming part of the furnace or hopper structure. Several of these units may be erected across the width of the grate to form a sectionalised shoot.
