351,152. Printing-machines. LITTLER, J. W., 81, Navigation Road, Altrincham, Cheshire. April 28, 1930, No. 12966. [Class 100 (i).] Sheet smoothers.- In a two-revolution flat-bed printing machine the sheets to be printed are pressed on to the impression cylinder b by jets of air, which may be heated, directed from openings in pipes i, j, on to the paper. More than two pipes may be used. The jets of air exert a smoothing action over the whole length of the sheet.
