Abstract

337,809. Schwaller, E. Aug. 6, 1929. Stoppers with valves; sealing devices for stoppers and other closures.-The delivery aperture 6 of a rigid container is adapted to be closed by a cap member 5 rotatable eccentrically with regard thereto and resiliently urged against the surface in which the hole is formed. The cap is carried by the spring arm 8 of a clip device 7, which is rotatably mounted on a cylindrical extension 3 of the container or on a hard metal sleeve thereon, the clip being provided with a recess 19 which engages a projection 20 on the container to retain the cap member in the closed position. The closure is preferably arranged in a depression in the container as shown in Fig. 7, and to prevent illicit opening a string 28 passing through holes 22 is attached to the rim x.
