Abstract

330,122. Spanner, E., F. May 22, 1929. Mountings for rocket apparatus. - A rocketfiring trough or tube has a stem permanently attached to it, which is adapted to be passed through a hole in some fixed object, such as a ship's rail or bulwark, or a pier rail. In the example shown, a rocket tube 1 has a fixed stem 3, the end of which is screw threaded. The stem may be passed through a hole provided for it in any fixed rail or the like 4, as above indicated, and is secured therein by a nut 6. A slotted wedge 8, inserted between a resilient washer 5 and the rail 4, is used. for varying the angle of elevation.
