Drums. - A quickrelease for the snares 2 of a snare-drum comprises a cam 7 with finger-piece 9 which is pivoted on the rod 4 to which the snares are attached at one end, and bears on a bracket 5 through which the rod 4 moves longitudinally. At the other end the snares are attached to a fine adjustment comprising a nut which screws on the end of a rod such as 4 against a bracket such as 5.
