Thermionic amplifiers.-Variable resistances R1, R2 are inserted in the anode leads of valves V1, V2 connected in push-pull rotation, and the halves of the split primary of the output transformer Tu, are tapped at 1, 2, 3, to afford adjustments to compensate for badly matched valves, and thus eliminate the effects of ripple from a battery-eliminator B.
