Abstract

Delivery, stopping.-In devices of the kind comprising gripping-members operated by a tripmember or detector lever upon breakage to trap the yarn, the gripping-members are geared so that they move together when the trip-member is released. As shown, the yarn normally passes through the space formed by recesses i in geared rollers b, b<1>, but upon breakage a detector a falls whereby the rollers are rotated and grip the end by means of the wide teeth beyond the recesses. A pawl c is adapted to engage a recess d and hold the rollers during piecing.
