Portable railways; rails; tie-bars. - Wheel tracks comprising inner and outer angle-bars 4, 5 with staggered joints are secured together by inter-engaging clip plates 6, 7 and a key or cotter 10 formed at each end of a tie-bar 11. Plate 7 has a flange 14 and a tongue 8 engaging a slot in plate 6 which has a flange 16, tongue 8 being slotted to receive the projection 10.
