300,656. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. Nov. 17, 1927, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Tubes, water ; steam and water valves, applications of.-In a boiler or the like consisting of a row of tubes connected in parallel, to reduce the variations in the flow of liquid through the tubes caused for instance by deposits, a resistance is placed in each tube many times greater than the resistance through the tube without the added resistance. A resistance may consist of a centrally perforated disc fitted in a tube. A rotatable sleeve may be placed in the outlet pipe and formed with radial holes through which the tubes discharge. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect, 91 (3) (a) a resistance is inserted in the inlet or outlet pipe of a row of tubes. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
