Road-traffic signals an vehicles.-A vehicle lamp 1 mounted laterally of the driver and illuminating to the rear, more particularly a direction indicator for motor-vehicles, is provided at the rear with screen members 5 so positioned as to screen the driver from the laterally-emitted rays. The strips 5 may be cut out of the rear wall of the lamp and suitably bent. In a modification wherein the rear wall of the lamp is a glass disc, the screen is formed by vertical glass strips projecting from the disc on the inside of the lamp.
