Abstract

259,796. Kelly, A., Dec. 4, 1925. Lantern screens. - In order to prevent rays of light from a vehicle lamp being reflected back by log, an orange or other coloured screen is removably attached to the exterior of the lamp so as to cover its entire lighting face. The screen may comprise a hood A of india-rubber or other flexible material stretched over the bevel or other part of the lamp B so as to leave a translucent panel parallel with the face of the lamp. Alternatively, the screen may comprise a disc of coloured material carried by a frame having means for removably attaching it over the front of the lamp.
