Abstract

313,712. White, E. H., and White, H. May 1, 1928. Lantern screens. -A screen comprising a single layer of glass tubes a at right angles to the beam of light is adapted to be inserted behind the front glass of a vehicle lamp. The tubes may be mounted between a flat ring b and a dished ring c, soft packing d arranged in the shouder formed by the dished ring bearing against the mouth of the reflector. A hook on the screen may engage an aperture in the reflector to retain the screen in place when the front glass is removed.
