Abstract
288,400. Marks, E. C. R., (Curvfit Products Co., Inc.). Feb. 8, 1927. Razors, safety, particularly suitable for shaving under the arms have the blade flexed longitudinally between a toothed guard plate 21 to which a handle 20 is riveted and a hinged clamping plate 31. The blade 43 is first snapped into place on plate 31 under projections 39, 40, being positioned by projections 33, 34 engaging the back of the blade, and projections 37, 38 engaging bevelled portions 46 at the ends of the cutting edge. Plate 31 is then closed upon the guard 21 and held by catches 25, 41, the projections 37 - - 40 passing through corresponding clearance holes 26 - - 29 in the guard.
