Corns, treatment of; foot-arch supports.-An oversock or undersock A worn over or under the stocking or sock in a boot &c. is made of rubber or other waterproof material with pieces of rubber sponge, to relieve pressure, vulcanized thereto under the heel B, over and under the toes D, C, and under the ball of the foot E, the side of the sock being left uncovered. A similar piece of rubber sponge F may be placed under the arch of the foot.
