Abstract
240,958. Rosher, F. N. D. July 30, 1924. Compound fabrics.-A medicated boot sock, bandage, or the like comprises a piece or length of material, for example, buckram, provided with cavities or openings produced during the manufacture of the material, the cavities or openings being filled with radio-active or other substances b in such a manner as to provide a number of small bodies of the substance each bounded or separated by a flexible body. A covering c of thin fabric may be applied to one or both of the surfaces. The radio-active or other substance is pressed into the openings or cavities in the form of a paste, care being exercised to prevent the material being embedded in the paste.
