For this purpose, an annular chamber c is formed in the casing and is open to the vortex chamber d. The wall e protects the liquid from the rotor and ribs h in the chamber prevent any rotation of the liquid. In a construction with an inlet eye and a bearing on each side the arrangement of chambers is duplicated.
