Long-arms; hammers.-The effective leverage of a spanner 16 is increased by attaching to it a handle 10 with lugs 11, 12 projecting from opposite edges of the bar to grip the spanner. The opposite end may be forked at 13 to assist in removal of nuts, or may consist of a hammer head or other tool.
