Hand grip sliding-jaw wrenches. - A wrench comprises a fixed jaw 3 on a shank 2 to which is pivoted at 6 a lever 5 pivotally connected at 10 to a U-shaped member 4 embracing the shank 2 and having relatively inclined slots 7, one engaging a pin 9 fixed to the shank and the other a pin 8 on the movable jaw 1. A member 11 pivoted to the end of the shank engages within the member 4.
