Abstract

261,180. James, E. Nov. 10, 1925. Stud-and-slot fastenings; locks, pin-key. - A device particularly adapted for securing casement windows with metal frames comprises a notched stud on one part locked in a hole in the other part by a notched disc c. The stud a is screwed or rivetted to the window g and enters the hole i in the frame, when the disc c is turned to align its notch f with the hole. The disc is then turned by a pin key to engage in the notch b in the stud. The disc is journaled in a hole in the frame and may have a cut-away part p engaging with a fixed pin q to limit its motion.
