249,997. Turner, W. March 14, 1925. Oscillating cylinder pumps. - A foot actuated pump with an air receiver comprises a cylinder b and a pedal lever d pivoted to a base, and a hollow reservoir piston rod f pivoted to the lever, a tension spring j between the cylinder head and the piston, a spring pressed valve i in the piston, and a small duct h, through which air is led to the tyre, at the far end of the piston rod. Air enters the cylinder through holes m in the cap and passes the piston cup leather. Specification 249,911 is referred to.
