241,379. Berry, H. H. Oct. 10, 1924. Wire resistances mounted on grooved surfaces.-In a heating element for use in an electric fire or radiator comprising a number of insulating sections a, b having grooves containing the resistance wire e, the sections are held together by bolts d of round or square section passing therethrough from end to end and a metal back plate n, the edges of which engage grooves in the sections. The end sections c are provided with grooves f, g, to allow interconnection between coils in adjacent grooves and connection to screws fitted to terminal plates m provided with blade or other contacts j and arranged in slots i at the back of the end and adjacent sections. The grooves in the sections b are formed with overhanging portions k.
