Dynamos, driving. -One cam shaft b of a motor-vehicle engine is driven from the flywheel end of the main shaft a by gear wheels c, d, and the second cam shaft e is driven from the other end of the first cam shaft by chain gearing f, g, h. The chain h may also drive the shaft i of the lighting system, the shaft i being eccentrically mounted so that it may be adjusted by a hand-lever n to tighten the chain.
