Abstract
233,558. Brymer, D., & Low & Co., Ltd., J. F. July 8, 1924. Rollers and roller heads.-The bearing bushes C of the pressing and like rollers of drawing, roving, and like frames are carried on pivots D in a frame E of such length as to embrace the rollers B, whereby the loss of the bushes during the removal of the rollers is prevented and the removal and replacement of the rollers is facilitated. The arms of the frame are preferably sufficiently elastic to allow the bushes to be sprung into place, and a wood or other strapping G is provided to form a handle. The bushes are pivoted above their centres of gravity so as to hang vertically and their lower ends Fare preferably pointed so as readily to enter the bearing- slides.
