Rollers and roller heads.-In under-clearers for the rollers of yarn preparing, spinning, and like frames comprising a reciprocating flannel or like covered flat and a roller, the roller r is supported by spring means s from the flat d so that, as the flat oscillates and reciprocates by reason of its pivotal connection to a rod h coupled to an oscillating shaft m, the roller r rolls around the front bottom roller c. More than one roller r may be used and, alternatively or additionally to the arrangement shown, similar rollers may be mounted on the flat to clear the back bottom roller. The flat is supported by springs c.
