Non-metallic elastic bodies and cores. - A rubber tyre a is formed with a core b of highly flexible material, such as unvulcanized rubber, gum, gelatine, resinous substance, &c., the core having radial apertures c in register with holes d in the tyre base e. The band e may be formed of metal or other material, rigid or otherwise. The core b may be continuous or in the form of spaced blocks, and the apertures c may be of the same diameter as the holes d, or larger.
