Abstract

268,178. McTigue, M. May 27, 1926. Non-metallic elastic bodies and cores.-A solid tyre for vehicle wheels comprises a core built up of concentric laminations 3 of rubber arranged in layers 13 14, 15, the hardness o the layers decreasing from the rim portion o the core to the tread. A split casing 4, 5, 6 sur rounds the core and is enclosed in an outer cover 16. A spreade: 10 positions the beads 7 of the split casing.
