Abstract

A conveying and cutting device for loading vehicles for harvested agricultural produce comprises two endless chains (13) arranged parallel to one another and synchronously movable over lower and upper chain wheels (15 and 17). At least six conveyor rakes (4a and 4b) formed by a rake rod (5) and prongs (4) are pivotally linked to the chains. A conveyor duct (8) accommodates one or more knives (9 and 10) with which the prongs co-operate to cut harvested agricultural produce being conveyed. At least three conveyor rakes are arranged to have their prongs within the conveyor duct at any one time. <IMAGE>
