Abstract

186,867. Levy, B. Jan. 19, 1922. Hat boxes.-A hat box is fitted with a tray formed with two hinged flaps 14 which can be folded against the central portion to reduce the size of the tray. On one side of the tray is a flexible pocket 17 closed by a snap fastener 19, and on the other side a pair of expansible bands 20 under which the flaps 14 may be folded. The tray rests on a ledge 12 and is secured in alternative positions by snap fasteners 22. The box has one or more fittings 10 for hats and loops 11 to receive shoes. Inside the hinged lid 4 is a large expansible pocket 24 across which is a flexible strip 25 secured in position by snap fasteners and furnished with a number of pockets 26 for toilet articles &c.
