Pivoting - adjustments. - A pivot mounting for a perambulator or other hood comprises a squared central spindle h carrying a slidable serrated locking-washer f which engages serrated discs e attached to two metal ribbon hoops a of the hood, locking engagement being secured by the action of a spring b, disposed between the hoops and a washer plate a secured to the vehicle body, and a wing-nut or clamping-device mounted on the circular end of the spindle h. The washer f is not rotatable but the hoops d and further wire hoops c have circular sockets of sufficient size to allow of rotation. If desired, further hoops may carry a sun canopy.
