Hasp fastenings.-A clip for holding the frame members of a folded vehicle-hood consists of a forked link C hinged to a bracket B on the body A of the vehicle and having pivoted thereto a lever D, of which the longer arm D<2> forms a handle, and the shorter arm D<3> is free to spring slightly and is adapted to engage, on turning over of the handle, with a lug E also free to spring slightly and secured to the top hood-stick F. To free the frame, the handle is swung inwards and the link C turned down the handle then being held under a spring blade G.
