Driving and like chains with separate joint pins.-In conveyer and like chains of the kind wherein each link a is of flat tubular form, the distance between the flat parts a<2> of each tube is less than the diameter of the joint-pins b, whereby end recesses are formed which retain the pins in position. The flat webs may meet together as shown in Fig. 5. The pins b are tubular, and are retained in position lengthways by end flanges, one of which is formed after assembly of the links.
