Abstract
183,480. Landis & Gyr Akt.-Ges. July 22, 1921, [Convention date]. Regulating transformers.-The number of turns in the primary winding of a current transformer is varied by means cf a switch mounted on the cover 3 of the transformer casing. The switch comprises a bridge-piece 7 which can be rotated over contacts 8, 9, 10 by means of pins 20 carried by a disc 18 secured to a hand-wheel 15 rotatably mounted on a bolt 5 carried by the cover 3. The bridge-piece is held against the contacts by a spring 21. The switch parts are covered by a cap 22 carrying a circular scale 25 on which are marked the transformation ratios and current ranges corresponding to the different positions of the switch, the scale being viewed through diametrically-opposite index openings 19 carried by the disc 18. The transformer is attached to the cover by straps 4.
