Abstract

Cooling condensers, air blast and deflectors for. -In a condensing system for light steam locomotives in which lateral chambers connected by tubes c are divided into compartments so that the course of the exhaust gases is zig-zag, a fan arranged in a casing 12 having hinged doors 14 delivers air into the smoke stack 13. The fan draws air through the grating of tubes, the draught being regulated by means of a lever 18 connected to a sliding piece 15 connected to the doors 14 by links 17.
