Abstract

171,555. Alexander (nÚe O'Brien), M. Sept. 14, 1920. Washing-machines with rotary dollies.-The squared shaft E carrying the fixed or slidable dolly F, and vertically movable through its bearing e<1>, is given rotary oscillations by means of a sprocket chain that is attached at its ends to a pivoted half-disc J oscillated by a handle j<3>, and passes around a sprocket-wheel H on the 'shaft E. The mechanism, enclosed in a casing K, is mounted on a base-plate D secured to the hinged portion B of the tub cover.
